Lots has been happening.
The winter, the coldest for years, has come and gone. The last ski locally was on All Fools Day - 1st April. It was a glorious day with loads of snow in the hills. There's been loads of wildlife about, both on and off the snow - white mountain hares, a shrew scurrying across the white, deer bounding in the powder, buzzards eking out the winter. I've managed about 100 miles of skiing locally this year, plus snow-biking and some canoeing. It has been a busy outdoor time.
We had a massive easterly storm which coincided with high tides. The dinghy park at North Berwick was overcome with the waves piling in, causing massive damage to the boats parked there. My own boat was damaged, but has now been repaired. There are several videos on youtube which show the event.
The local cinema club 'Pix in the Stix' has been putting on several films recently, and we had an Oscar Night - which was a sellout. Folk dressed up as stars for the occasion and it was great fun.
We've had folk staying at the flat for Winter breaks. They were warm and cosy and had such a great time that they said they would have to come back to see and do the stuff they missed this time, and all round about here!

The flat is available for bookings and is cosy with it's central heating. Ours is a great village to stay in - so come along and become acquainted.
This month's photos are a mixed bunch as usual with various shots from East Lothian, Liverpool and Crosby.
